Some easy steps to get you going on your self-development journey.

Go back to the basics if you want to improve your life without overcomplicating it, if you are feeling overwhelmed with the whole idea.
When you don't know where to start, and are struggling to get going, the best thing to consider is the basics - keep it nice and simple without having to really plan or reprogramme your mind. In saying this, this is just to get you started and on track to improving yourself and becoming better.

We don't need to complicate things, try to figure out too much in our pursuit of personal development and improvement.
Unfit and/or fat - get moving, go for a walk daily, start doing stretches, push-ups, body squats. any kind of body weight exercises. if you have a sedentary job, get up every half an hour and do 5 minutes of movement.
Lack of knowledge - start reading, watch YouTube videos of areas in your life you want to improve or skills you want to learn. Google can provide you with a plethora of links to anything you want to know
Financial issues - ask for a pay rise, get a second job, go for a promotion; or apply for a completely new job. Put yourself out there, if you believe you deserve it, go for it, if you think you don't then work towards being deserving. cut back in useless spending until you are in a better financial position. Rather than spending £4 a day at Starbucks, put that in an investment portfolio.
Not good with women - start talking to all women without thinking about an outcome. Talk for the purpose of talking only, no agenda. Old, young, fat, skinny, every kind of woman you meet in your daily life, just talk to them; spark a conversation, this will get you comfortable being around women. As you have no agenda, you can make all the mistakes you want.
Confidence issues - here you just need to fake it till you make it. Learn the alpha body postures, maintain eye contact with people, speak slowly, pause between sentences. Deepen your voice using breathing exercises: inhale through nose, exhale through mouth, both from diaphragm while being verbal with the exhale - haaaaa - doing this will deepen the voice.
